Ya, there are a few other guys from the Atlantic that have played D in the NHL...I just didn't bother including guys with less than 4 or 500 games played.

I know there are lots of cases like that...realistically it should be based on where a player would choose to represent himself...I just didn't bother going that far. Turns out Scott Niedermayer was born in Edmonton, but Rob is BC born.
I'd always associated Fleury with Manitoba, so I was surprised to see him in Sask.

That's fair...he would definitely be better placed on the taxi squad, so the threat of him getting you in the next game is always there.
Take another look at Recchi's carrer...I know he never comes across as sexy as those other guys, but he his best seasons are very comparable to theirs, but he has the longevity and 3 rings with different teams. If you were throwing someone out to make an impact on one shift, I'd go with the guys you listed, but Recchi has proven himself to be a fantastic player when he's with other stars.
