Probably the grossest was raw scallop (sushi). I spat it out.

I also can't drink floats of any kind. I OD'd on some sort if root beer-neopolitain ice cream float at Girl Guides in fourth grade and got really sick. Never been able to drink another float since.

Similar tequila experience when I was 18 but not sure that really counts as food.

Apple sauce. *Shudder* When I had my wisdoms taken out, I was eating apple sauce soon after I woke up from my post extraction nap. Took some T3, which made me seriously sick.

Under spoiler in case of TMI.

Spoiler!

I'm sure everyone has had one. About a year ago I had a tequila experience where I wound up practically crying outside the gates of Stephen Harper's house at 6:00 am with a shattered phone screen until his guard gave me directions home.

As for food, I can't stand celery. Also, I once had an experience with a maple glazed pork loin, so now I don't like to eat anything maple flavoured.

Once I had sushi, not the fancy flavoured kind, the plain Jane kind. Didn't like the texture. I don't mind the different flavoured sushi though.

It's not true korean or japanese if they put a fried egg on it. It's usually raw.

You should be talking to Canadianized Koreans.

Had a piece of my buddies raw Sea Urchin at a sushi place. That was definitely up there for worst tasting (and I love sushi) and easily the worst thing that I've tasted for that was meant to taste to good. I also did a food challenge at my old work where I drank a bottle of ranch in two minutes for $130 and proceeded to have to leave early and then eventually puked it all out. That was the worst food experience but it was definitely worth it.

For sketchiest I'd say this tartar I had in Paris. I was eating tartar almost daily but this one literally looked like some crap hamburger meat from wal-mart that was put through a meat grinder. I was seriously counting down the days for salmonella or e coli incubation.

You don't have to wait for someone to die, just crash a church luncheon. When I used to attend church, there was a luncheon once a month after church and there were always those delicious egg salad sandwiches!
