Sad that 960 is a stepping stone for all these guys. Clearly Rogers isn't willing to pay up to hold talent.

It's more of a graduation to a larger market. It's a shame 960 can't get the Stampeders broadcast rights. I do think QR77 does a very good job with Stamps radio broadcasts but it's a news station not a sports station. If the QR77 crew came over to 960 it would be good for the station and IMO would benefit the Stampeders as well getting more coverage.

Dont think it helps Boomer, Walker, and Rhett that they had to follow up Mike Richards.
Many people loved Richards and it was always going to be tough on those guys having to replace him.
I like the morning show guys and think they did some good stuff. Walker's sarcastic player profiles were quite funny at times and wouldn't be surprised if those were what caught the attention of Toronto.

But, there's two stations, 1040 and 1410.

Finally someone with the same observation. Pinder is so much better than Leslie. Pinder actually has some legitimate points whereas Leslie seems to just get on the air and talk without doing any research himself. He offers opinions but not facts - kind of a waste of time. At least he seems to be a pretty good interviewer. When he did the Stampede show, you can just feel that he didn't want to be there.
Back to the main topic - That's stupid and the Player profiles are pretty funny. I think Walker will do well in TO. Good luck to him.

While I wasn't a fan of his at first, he did kind of grow on you.
but, I didn't understand his bizarre hatred of hummingbirds, malt vinegar and ZZ Top.
Seriously, who hates hummingbirds?
