McDonalds Drive Thru a FLOP in Calgary
Pieces of crap. I eat McDonalds maybe 3 times a year and the last 2 times in the drive through they totally effed up my order. Ordered an egg mcmuffin combo today. Got a sausage mcmuffin. no hash brown and no straw for my orange juice.
Well great they will replace it but i was 15 minutes away when i found out, and i'm not driving back there for a hash brown.
Wendy's isn't that much better either. Last time i went through their drive through, i didn't have a patty on my jr. burger! are you effing kidding me?

FYI - you're paying $5 for a bunch of 14 to 17 year olds to make you breakfast and you complain when there's mistakes?
Sorry, but this attitude really GMG.
My in laws make a point of arguing with the kids when they go and things aren't just right. I leave when people do that. Fine dining establishment? Sure. There are certainly different expectations. McDonald's? Come on man

Calling it a flop implies that McDonalds recognizes their drive-thru is a failure, yet they've had a drive-thru going on decades. Perhaps change the thread title to "I am frustrated with McDonalds drive-thru"?

Came expecting a news story about McDonalds drive-thru's in Calgary not doing well.
Found a Bertuzzied opinion (hehe) about McDonalds drive-thru screwing up his order the "3 times a year" he goes to McDonalds.
Left disappointed and somewhat bored.

I admit to going to McD's more than 3 times a year, and have only had one order slightly different than what I ordered in the last 5 years or so.
That's a pretty good job. This is the McD's on 32nd Avenue just east of Barlow.

I too go to McDonald's more than 3 times a year. I don't remember any incidents of getting the wrong order... but I also almost never use drive thru...
