Default Season Ticket offer

Hey guys I just got offered season tickets after 4 yrs in the hot house, just wondering what happens if I'm not ready for them yet? I was hoping it would be another year or 2 honestly. I will probably be calling customer service on this but just seein if anyone else defered their tickets or if your even able to do that.

would it be pretty tough to get rid of the majority of the tickets to other ppl in game packs etc?

The thread on the seat location mentions that you can defer it for a couple of years. You don't lose your spot, but you may be behind others that also deferred who were higher on the wait list.

I might be wrong on this, but I believe if you don't accept you get kicked off the list. I'm pretty sure this was the case when my family finally got offered tickets, after being in the hot house for a few years. It was either take 'em of GTFO

This is incorrect.

I deferred last year and got Green seats this year.

LTH, I would call Flames customer service and explain to them that you can't do it and would like to defer, but stay on the Hot House list.

Yeah, this was like 6 years ago. Maybe they just changed their policy or I heard the info wrong.

I sell a good chunk of my games to a group of guys, the same guys year to year. I don't think you'd have much trouble selling game packs.

I decide the number of games I want to go to and then it goes by seniority for number of games, with a minimum of 5 games. Then names are drawn from a hat and we "draft" games.

Where are the seats located? Section and Row? If they are high whites or high press level then they might be hard to sell in packs. If they are blacks or lower greens then it should be easier for you to sell.

It won't tell me what seats they are, I imagine they are ####ty lol I'm thinking HIGH GREENs. Wouldn't high whites be easier to sell because they are in the middle. I'm pretty sure I entered greens as my first preference a month ago.

Ideally I'd only like to go to like 5 games just because of work and getting up at 430 and working alot of saturdays etc etc This is definitely an investment for the future when I can hopefully enjoy it more.

If you go to your My Flames account and click that you want to pay the invoice it will show you the seat numbers on the next screen. Unless you were really high on the list last year you likely didn't get offered greens. I had greens as my first choice too and got whites. I am thinking a lot of people picked green due to being half the price.

Greens are much easier to sell because of the lower STH cost. I had greens last year for the while you wait pack and had no issues selling high greens for face value ($55) but it is hard to convince anyone to pay white face value of $110 for row 23 for a Tuesday night game against the Wild. You could probably sell for STH cost but even that will be a struggle to the less desired games.

oh ya I didn't notice that before ....sec 206, row 23

Seems like they upped the price though. I can't make the numbers add up for the ticket prices here > http://flames.nhl.com/club/page.htm?id=40762

Did you add the 5% GST and 2% facility fee that's in the fine print at the top?

with every NHL team coming to the 'Dome, hopefully it'll be easier to unload tickets this season. It'll was a tough go some games last year following the lockout.

I have to decide by tmw. It's looking like I'lll defer until next year
ya mine was the same price ...$3426 I think. I added the 5% and 2% to the prices in at seating map and it still came up short.
Not a bad price for the tickets though.

The flames said this: 'if you choose not to take these tickets, we will send out a hot house membership renewal following this offer which will allow you to maintain your priority number'
