Apparently a 1 year deal would have been better as not to give TJ too much ammo in the next negotiations. Which I'm sure leads him to believe that we should fire Feaster.

It didn't take very long at all. Sounds like you're the only person here upset. The Flames prioritize their order of business and re-signing RFA's is often put off until after the draft.
The annual freakout when player X isn't signed mid July is hilarious to watch. Here's a tip, there's no point getting upset about unsigned players until camp starts or the season starts. You just make yourself look like a chicken little.

For all we know, his agent may have had one or more players file for arbitration, so they took priority. Then, once those were settled, he could focus on getting Brodie done. Feaster might not have been the delay at all.
