Shows Feaster's legal background is really coming in handy when it comes to signing contracts with players.
Very impressed with his RFA/UFA signings.
Owners must be happy from a cash flow management point of view too...tough to have both fans and owners pleased with spending.

Which legal background helped him get Brodie on this deal?

No, they still have Gaudreau to sweat over. And when he signs, they'll be falling all over themselves about Jankowski snubbing us.
Confidence is sexy, people. Remember it.
Oh and fantastic signing. Right term right dollars for both sides. They'll take care of you in 2 years TJ, don't worry.

Good signing - a little lower AAV than I would have expected.
Hope his next contract is 8 yrs @ about $6m per

A big thanks to you Brad Stuart for hating Calgary!

Fair deal for both. This is exactly what a 2nd contract should look like. I think it also shows that Brodie is confident that in 2 years, he will be set for a big contract.

I gotta say, ever since the Flames decided to go full rebuild, I've liked the moves Feaster has made. It will be a rough season next year, but I have much more hope for the future of this team than I did 6 months ago.

For the record, Stuart liked Calgary, but couldn't stay in Canada at the time.

Shouldn't we be thanking Stuart's wife and his stepkids?
