Problem is, if you add Hejduk to the roster you probably lose Horak as we won't have room for him. Then we have the problem of having a team full of mentors but no rookies to learn from them.
Basically I think it would be a waste of a season to have a roster like that.

I can see the benifit to Hejduk to want to sign with a weak team like the Flames. He would get the big minutes to showcase what he can do and then set himself up to be traded to a contender at the deadline.
Pretty much the exact same thing Jagr did last year with the Stars and is set up to do again this year with the Devils.
The sticking point is that Hejduk wants big $$ to go with it and we don't want to pay him that. The Flames also do not have room for him. So I really do not see the Flames as a fit.
I can see one of the other fringe/bubble teams going for him like the Preds, Panthers, BJs, Canes...
