As people have mentioned before there are two-sides to all stories. That is not a normal tantrum for a grown person, she obviously suffers from an anxiety disorder. I also suffer from anxiety disorder and I can tell you that you just cannot control it. I do not react the same way she does, I actually go completely quite, but my wife is the one that calms me, that helps me get through it. She has never tried to make it worse, she always tries to help me...... The wife in that video should be seeking help for her self, and if she is not the husband should be doing it that is what marriage is about dealing with your partners ##### not recording it and throwing it on the net. The guy obviously wanted a divorce so he filmed that episode in order to deflect the "embarrassing" consequences away from himself.
Who wants to play those eights and aces
Who wants a raise
Who needs a stake
Who wants to take that long shot gamble
And head out to fire lake
Head out
Who wants to go to fire lake
And head out
Who wants to go to fire lake
Head out
Out to fire lake
Who's gonna do it

Oh please.
I it was the man that had a kiddie tantrum, he would be universally ridiculed by the entire world. But because it is a woman, somehow the man is to blame because she acts like a 5 year old. I am sure she will get to go on Oprah, and they will play a bunch of sappy violin bumper music for her, while they blame her husband for her childish behaviour, and every problem she has ever had ever.

Different people display anxiety differently, there is no one all recipe for how anxiety displays itself. To judge someone without knowing them is a little fanatical.

A lot of people are judging the guy in the same way.

It seems reasonable to me. What he did should be illegal, and if not, there should be civil consequences.
Trying to goad your partner into acting their worst (in private) so you can film it and show it to the world definitely crosses the line into abusive behaviour.
It's not illegal, regardless of if you think it should be...
I have seen numerous videos online of kids/young adults having temper tantrums . Should all of those kids be entitled to financial compensation? Those kids are at their presumed worse and I am sure they think it is private. Why should an adult who is acting like a child be more entitled?
How do you know he was goading? How do you know she is not like this all the time?
You serve me
And I'll serve you
Swing your partners, all get screwed
Bring your lawyer
And I'll bring mine
Get together, and we could have
A bad time
Its affidavit swearing time
Sign it on the dotted line
Hold your Bible in your hand
Now all that's left is to
Find yourself a new band . . .
Were gonna play the sue me, sue
You blues
Were gonna play the sue me, sue
You blues
Hold the block on money flow
Move it into joint escrow
Court receiver, laughs, and thrills
But in the end we just pay those
Lawyers theit bills
When you serve me
And I serve you
Swing your partners, all get screwed
Bring your lawyer
And I'll bring mine

Should he counter sue for her posting comments about him on Facebook for all his co-workers / friends to see?
Everyone getting upset at the guy for filming it should think about one thing. This was almost assuredly not the first time this happened and I think he was being made out to be the "bad guy" in the relationship. It sounds like from what he was saying that he wanted the recording (which starts midway into the tantrum BTW, so I don't know how he could have planned it) to prove to everyone just how irrational she can get.
I'm surprised he didn't leave her sooner.

Obviously she is. But my point is - he dated her. He married her. I'm sure this is not the first time she's pulled this crap. And he's pulling some dysfunctional crap back in return. They both suck. If you're dating some chick, and she busts out anything even remotely close to this level of tantrum over anything, really, why wouldn't you end the relationship?
And if your man is so controlling and manipulative (and whatever else she said about him, I don't really care either way) that you decide your only remaining response is a full on tantrum, then cut bait and run long before you're heading down the aisle.
But neither of them left the other, they both escalated things to the point of full-on tantrums and internet humiliation. So my opinion, in summary, is they both suck.
