He's not even 65 yet (he'll be 64 in November). He wasn't even 40 when the Flames won the Cup.

Pinder said on his twitter that color positions are reserved for former players and coaches. It doesn't sound like he has much confidence in landing the job, unfortunately.
Give it to Kerr and bring back Loubardias for TV.

I would agree I miss Loubardias on tv, and Kerr is awesome on the radio.
If not, Noodles or Krahn would be a good choice, goalies make good color guys.

No way does Noodles take the job. I would imagine he's making more money working for TSN than if he worked as a colour guy for the Fan. Also, there's much much less travel.
(This isn't to say I wouldn't want him as the colour guy though).

Best colour man that I've heard. It will be hard to replace him. He was also very good at interviews and time-filling. Never had an awkward moment.
I actually think Rhett Warrener would be a good choice.
