Having your son taken from you and have him raised as a Canucks fan? Any mothers worst dream.

The side by side with his potential father has a strong resemblance.

I remember his disappearance, it was big news in BC. To me the nose and ears seem off....but they do resemble the father.

Don't remember any song though.

Crazy if it's true. I remember seeing/hearing the name all the time; didn't realize he was from Victoria.

It does resemble him a lot except for the ears and the nose. The nose though could have been broken so it's hard to judge that.

Earthshattering for everyone involved if true. Cannot fathom the range of emotion everyone is going through and will go through if true.

On one side you have the family gaining some sliver of hope to see their son again and on the other, a man whos entire life is about to be shredded apart. Not saying its a bad thing but man, knowing you were raised by your potential kidnappers would be the most devastating news ever.

Not to mention the possibility of the people who actually took him and thought after so many years they got away with such a crime getting justice served to them so late.

Absolutely crazy turn of events.

How long does it realistically take to get DNA results back? You would think in a case like this where criminal charges are likely to be laid they would have gotten the results back before I even had a chance to make this post.

This isn't really a high priority case to get to budge in line for DNA testing. All DNA tests are important.

Those are important too but done by private companies and paid for by Maury.

A possible break in a 20 year old unsolved case of the abduction of a 4 year old child doesn't isn't a priority? Geez I wonder how low they prioritize rape and murder victims.

His "mother" is dead and if he was abducted she's the likely culprit. So no not really high priority.
