it's clear Wenger (rightfully) doesn't think Giroud is the answer

While Suarez might be better and more of the type of player Arsenal need, I'm not sure he'll be on the pitch enough to justify the extra cost. It is odd how it appears that they are will to increase their bids for Suarez but put the brakes on Higuain. However, it could be due to the way Real jacked up the price. I wouldn't want to deal with those shady twats either but I much prefer Higuain.
Also, I think Arsene still has confidence in Giroud's ability but doesn't like the fact he is really our only striker. It may say more about his confidence in Poldi's ability to play up front.

For the supporters of some clubs the close season is like Christmas, it's a joyous time filled with anticipation for the lovely gifts they will most likely receive. It's similar to Christmas for those that follow Arsenal as well except we have to celebrate it with family members that are like degenerate gamblers who insists on ruining it for everyone. At least at Christmas I have egg nog to assist the rum in the drowning of my first-World sorrows...

Oh God, what have you done?!?! Basically, you just gave him permission to buy an unknown French striker who's only experience is getting on the treatment table.

Why would Suarez want to go to Arsenal anyways?
Allegedly, the reason he wants to leave Liverpool is due to his perceived unfair treatment by the FA and the English media.
So...move to London? Yeah, that'll fix it.

Does anyone know what is happening for online streaming options for EPL for the new season? This is where we are supposed to see a split between Sportsnet and TSN going forward right? Sportsnet Online hasn't changed anything on their website.

and whether now that he's signed a new contract Wenger will even listen when Walcott demands to play up top

He came in on a free, Arsene won't be satisfied until he actually pays for a broken prospect.

Marco Reus scores to put Dortmund up 1-0 early against Bayern. While the game doesn't mean a whole lot it sounds like both teams want it pretty bad

I very much like Gareth Bale, but if the rumors of 50m plus Di Maria and Coentrao are true Levy needs to take that and run

Tottenham Hotspur have yet to respond to Real Madrid’s €100 million bid for Gareth Bale, sources close to the process have told ESPN.

so we will see, but ya no player is worse that so if its offered take it and improve 3 or 4 positions

It's Marca. It's what they do.
