the streak is over. How the heck did Bowman managed to get through the blocker. Sucks!! Hats off to El Matador. He came up short but he can start again.

Game just got blacked out with two minutes left because the Lions game is supposed to start. I'm kind of pissed.

So according to the Stamps stats guy, Parades is charged with a fumble and not a missed field goal. His field goal streak remains in tact.

Overall....pretty good game by calgary, sans that blocked FG and a 1st quarter where they were just completely flat.
Great resilience by the guys though...down 24 pts and give up 3 the rest of the way.
Injurues HAVE to be becoming a concern though. Joe West and Kevin Glenn need to get healthy...quick.
An amazing game though....CFL at its wildest best.

@vickihallch: The ball did not cross the line of scrimmage, so counts as a fumble on the kicker. Who knew?

Cant fumble a ball you never possessed....if BLM had dropped the snap, then yes its a fumble. But it was a clean catch and hold where the foot made contact.
Someone got some wrong info.

Yeah not sure how a fumble. If the snap was dropped and he kicked anyways, then maybe.
Though, is it considered a turnover which trumps a blocked (missed) kick? Just like a blocked punt is considered a turnover.
Technically, you can kick the ball (punt) and have a guy onside (behind you) recover it and you've never lost possession.

I agree but it is the CFL so it makes some sense. We love our wacky rules.

How this team is 3-1 and decimated by injuries is amazing.
I think last year really gave this team a identity after we went through a lot of injuries. It doesn't matter who is playing we still play the same and play to win.
At some point though the injuries will have to become a concern.

Well I'll be damned:

If such blocked kick is recovered by a defending player, the kicker will be
charged with a fumble lost. The yards lost from the line of scrimmage to the point
of recovery will be charged as a Team Loss under Section 5. Yards gained by the
blocking team after recovery will be recorded under Fumble Returns, See Section 11.

Technically that was not a missed field goal because it was blocked. To me a missed field goal is if he goes wide or short. Blocked field goal should be considered a turnover by the team and not a missed field goal.
Anyways, that's just my honest opinion and it doesn't mean anything if the rule is different from my interpretation.

Well the rules count blocks as misses from my understanding and what was mentioned by the commentators.
