115 points in 68 games in the 1998/99 season. That's right Rob Brown. Talk about one of the all time best seasons ever from a career journeyman. He was a pretty skilled guy.

Hahaha... you know you're a true hockey fan when the first thing you think about when hearing that name is Rob Brown, former 100-point Pittsburgh Penguin. He hasn't even been in the league for over 14 years.

I agree Muta, I first thought after reading the title to this thread that the retired hockey player was going to be the colour commentator for HNIC Flames games.

He is a super good guy who does the colour commentary for the Oilers and does a lot of community work in the city in particular for autism awareness/education.

You mean 1988/89. No way was Brown capable of scoring 115 points in the dead puck era (24 actually) lol.

Not to re-rail the thread but Rob Brown the CTV guy is a gem. His coverage of the riots in Van were riveting. By the end of the night the foam on his microphone was torn to shreds and he looked so disheveled. Definitely a champ.
