Regardless of your politics, this Washington Post article following some GI's as they patrol the streets of Sadr City in Baghdad makes for interesting reading. How would you feel if you were in their shoes?

As a sidenote, the New York Times today is saying Mucky al-Sadr is close to quitting being an ***hole and is making serious - this time - overtures to gathering all the political parties opposed to USA occupation together under one umbrella in time for the January election.
