Wow good to hear Janko is looking good. Can anyone give a good break down of what he's been doing to impress other than just being a lot bigger?

Went to the morning session. I agree on the assessments of Berra and Gillies. Both looked good, and Berra never gave up on the play and made some crazy saves because of that.

Monahan looked good. Very cerebral type player, but can certainly pick the corners from the slot. Would like to see him in a game situation.

Klimchuk stood out as well. Really was flying down the wing, and has that type of never stop trying mentality, maybe thats why some of you saw him lumbering after drills? He seemed to be going 110% the whole time.

Knight also looked good. Pretty polished player and scored some nice goals.

Johhny Hockey. This kid can sure play. Fast, creative, and so hard to catch or even read.

That's about the only players that stood out to me.

So Van Brabrandt stood out to some CPers. Any of the other invitees impress?

(I'm particularly interested in the invitees because upwards of 5 invitees from last season ended up playing for varying degrees of time with the Heat this past season).

He was very strong on the puck, used his body to create space in the drills, and his skating looked NHL quality.

What cole said. If he was playing in the nhl, he wouldn't look out of place on the 2nd line

The clear standout for me in the first session was Gaudreau. His skating is incredible and his hands are just as quick. As mentioned by a few posters he embarrassed one defenceman and created chances against a few others. Saying this as somebody who was less impressed by him at last years camp than many (not a shot at him, he was very good last year), he has taken a clear and obvious step to the point where he looks fantastic.

I thought Roman Horak looked far ahead of most of the players, but he wasn't standing out the same way this time. I think that this is on account of the increased talent level, though it is only one practice (and the first one to boot).

Interesting to learn Mike Cammalleri helping Sean Monahan work out in T.O this summer. Good sign for #Flames.
Weird how the Flames don't mind having such a malcontent helping with Monahan's training hey Roger? Weird huh?

I now can officially get pissed if anyone calls Jankowski an undersized high school player again. He's fricken huge out there now. Looks very solid

On a serious note, thanks for the updates. Great to hear about Janko's progress.

Do they update the prospect stats (height/weight) from testing anywhere?

Agostino is really shining on these one on one and two on one drills. Out working everyone, noticeably. I'm sitting beside Conroy and he mentioned the same thing.
