While this is logical, I hope it's not how it ends because that would be a crappy way to end the series after watching Dex slaughter people left, right and centre.

The doc is the melon ball killer I think.

That's what I was thinking... but isn't that too obvious for Dexter?

Agreed. Way too obvious. It's also obvious, however, that she is more involved that she is letting on.
Personally, I think she gets a thrill from serial killers and is trying to pit all her former "patients" against each other to find which one is the ultimate alpha wolf. She's already convinced Dexter to go after one, and I'm guessing she's convinced one or more others to go after him.

Dexter has to die. That's the way this all has to go down.

I loved the Dr's clarification that the first rule of the plan is don't get caught. And that allows Dexter to kill innocent people. This puts Deb in Danger, It would be a fiitting end to the series for Dex to kill Deb as it would come full circle from the first season where Dexter saved his sister from the very same table.

the Crazy eyed Dr will likely be the one that takes him down and i could see it being that she injects him with a tranquilizer Dexter style and Deb shoots Vogel?
For some reason i can see Deb killing Dexter out of mercy after rescuing him kind of like putting down a hurt animal.
It is obvious that she is stringing Dexter along and views him as nothing more than a gear on a wheel a piece of machinery that she can tinker with.
I think it will be revealed that Vogel is more void of emotion than her list of crazy patients. I don't think she is the Melon ball killer but that she knows who really is and that this is an elaberate experiment to see if she can convince Dexter to kill him creating this save me storyline she has created.
Vogel reminds me of a female version of Lithgow as the Trinity Killer.
Jennifer Carpenter should get an Emmy for her role this season so convincing her portrayal of someone how is an addict spiraling out of control. I had to remind myself after saying to the TV stfu Deb and get your head straight that Deb is just a character.
Outstanding acting.

Jenn Carpenter doesn't even have an Emmy nomination and barring a miracle she won't get one this year either. Her emotion is insane...

She has come a long way as an actor from the first season of the series.

It's not like the Academy doesn't like Dexter, 10+ nominations and 2 wins I think. Drama supporting actress is very crowded field, and now with Downtown Abbey on the scene there's no chance.

Emmy nominations are in. Dexter wiped off the board completely.

As it should have been. Season 7 was average at best.

Yeah, was not a fan at all. It was better than 5 and 6, but just never had me totally engaged the way 4, 2 and 1 did.
My season rankings-4, 2, 1, 7, 3, 5, 6, so right in the middle.

For me it is 4,1,2,5,3,6,7. Yvonne Strahovski was hot but not enough to save season 7. Last season was a disappointment for me, there was very little of a fear factor to last seasons episodes.

Caught up on the season finally. Eager to see how it plays out -- I don't have any theories so far, it's keeping me guessing.

The final 2 min of Scar Tissue were a wtf moment.
The new character Masuka's daughter is the high school crush chick from Friday Night lights.
