Hernia surgery, not double above-the-knee amputation.

Players have come back from much worse.

The double hernia surgery destroyed his skating. You can ask any Sharks or Sens fan, injuries killed his NHl career.

See I don't get how that happens. Meanwhile Yzerman recovers very well from an Osteotomy.

Dont kid yourself thinking there won't be a KHL version of this video made by this guy. He might even do it all while speaking Russian.

What a random player and what a random 56 goal season.

If anyone cares, he signed with croatian (not russian) team, that is going to debut at KHL. Coach and most of the players are canadians, their captain is former Flame Alan Letang. I heard, Croatia is a blast to live at.

Also, former Flame Kyle Greentree led the team last year. I was able to go to a couple of games live and he was a monster on that team.

Hopefully I will get a chance to go again this year. I have never been to a KHL game. The Erste Bank league was surpringly exciting though. I expect the KHL to be even better.

Ditto. And it wasnt the injuries that set him back its the fact that he just was never that good. He had one amazing season, he became an open book, couldnt change his game or adapt and he was done.
