Lovin' the photo with Millhouse in his flood pants. Toronto proving that they too can weather a storm with good spirits and humour.

Wow, I'm safe in downtown Toronto, but there are still many people stuck downtown trying to get home. No train service and very few shuttle buses.
Kind of nuts here

Dropped my buddy off at YYC and his flight back has been delayed...he's not sure if he's stuck here another night or not yet.

It's weird. I live about 50km east from Toronto and we had a little bit of drizzle and that was it.
I think this one is going to be pretty isolated, not like the devastation in Alberta.

I'm about 40km's away in Markham, and the was only a slight rain coming home today, and now a light drizzle. I didn't turn on the news until about 1.5 hours ago and I've been captivated that just those few KM's away there's seemingly chaos, which up here I've completely missed. Weather is a weird thing. There are live updates at http://www.thestar.com/news/gta/torontosummerstorm.html, which have been captivating me.

Yah, I got screwed. Was at the dentist watching the sky darkening, but had to get back to the office. Was stuck waiting in the lobby of the dentist's building for the rain to slow down to a point that my suit wouldn't be completely drenched just running across the street. Then found out the subway was closed down due to flooding. Changed lines before the next one closed down as well (walked by where Milhouse pic was). Had to run a few blocks darting in and out of buildings with an empty beer flat for cover until I found a store that sold umbrellas, then continued walking downtown. There were no cabs anywhere. Once I got to a PATH entrance (basically +15 network, but -15) I walked down to office, but kept getting rerouted due to flooding in buildings. Made it to work about 2 hours after when I should have returned from dentist.
When I left work, at like 9pm, there was no subway or streetcars downtown and no cabs, so took a leisurely stroll all the way home in the rain. My suit and shoes were already screwed, so why not. No point losing patience over the crappy situation.
Needless to say, it was a heavy rain storm that caught people and storm sewers by surprise. That's it.

First two pictures looks hot, third picture looks like she escaped a 70's porno. Is there much else?
