Gave up when I got to Dallas and Columbus. The first few were easy though.

I got 17, which was actually more than I thought I'd get. The dates helped.

If this was done a few weeks/months ago the following players would have been on it: Alfredsson, Bouchard, DiPietro, Grabovski, Horcoff, Iginla, Lecavalier, Morrow and Weiss. Two of the other leaders (ANA and COL) are actually UFAs and obviously the Calgary one is likely to retire.
The quiz actually has 6 bonus answers (see the spoiler for names): Calgary and Colorado have the second place players in case of retirement and Chicago (x2), Columbus and Minnesota have players that were the same season as the leader

Actually surprised that Colorado's was so recent, I thought he was on the 96 cup team.
So in terms of longest tenured players, it goes

at myself for not figuring out Nashville and Minnesota, but some of them I wasn't going to get if I had all day (Columbus, Florida, Dallas). Philly surprised me as well being so recent.

I feel bad for Patrik Elias - he played his first game for New Jersey in 1995, but still doesn't make this list.
