I don't remember who posted it, and I'm too lazy to try and find it, but it was said that this team is beginning to resemble the 2003-2004 squad, and I am forced to agree. !AND! I like it. I like it a lot!
All we need is for Sven to win the Richard trophy, and we're set!
Love this! When he confirmed for me on twitter tonight that his handle is an homage to Bill Murray in Kingpin he probably became my favorite Flame. I always had a soft spot as he seems like a great guy who has had his struggles and worked really hard to overcome them. The fact that he clearly loves Kingpin is just icing on the cake.

What's all this SOB is gonna get you talk? Perhaps my memory is wrong but I also viewed him as big, willing, but somewhat ineffective scrapper. Certainly not someone that strikes fear in the opposition.
Kind of like nystrom. Lots of 'go' and heart but doesn't exactly dominate many or deter much.
Grats on the other hand, beast! Exactly the guy needed for a young line up. Great personal story as well.

Hey Negative Nancy, chill. You don't know if Ramo is the next Kipper. Could be. You have no idea if one of our kids will step up and score like it's his last hour on earth.
Neither do I. But this is a gritty tough looking team and I will enjoy it until I decide otherwise.

Here's to more Gordie Howe Hatties from the best enforcer Calgary has had in a very long time.
He's on a whe different level of fighting ability than guys like Jackman and Kostopolous.
Infinitely better than Roy, who didn't win a single fight that I ever saw while in a Flames jersey.
Comparable to Goddard in terms of face-punching (which is saying something), and while not as fast, McGrattan is probably a slightly better hockey player.
Very happy with this signing. Very happy.

The Flames have been saying it will be tougher to play in front of our net so besides being a willing scrapper I think they mean there is this to watch out for:
