Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie 17s Horcoff is off to DAL. Believe it's for a draft pick. TBA. Horcoff has a $5.5M cap hit but has 2 yrs remaining at $4M and $3M, respectively.

Looks like they want to make the cap floor in Dallas. Horcoff spent some time at Michigan St. too, so he might have some connections with Nill.
Pretty stupid that the Oilers were able to get rid of that terrible contract without having to give up assets, or pay half of his salary.
