Wow. Crazy deal. Eriksson's probably the most underrated player in the NHL. Would fit in nicely in Boston to help them score goals.

NOO.

Get in there Feaster.

We're the ones with too many forwards on our hands.

Eriksson is a Bruins type player. Seguin is not.

Eriksson is $4.25m cap hit. Will be interesting to see what the other parts of this trade are.

If Feaster didn't offer anything/everything that was expendable (- Sven, Brodie, Monahan) then he wasn't doing his job.

This confirms that Seguin must truly be on the block. I was just ready to dismiss it as a "scare" as strange as that tactic seemed.

Great move both ways. Eriksson is so underrated. Dallas would have to add but they get a solid young center who can prosper in Dallas.

If Seguin was any good, Boston wouldn't trade him to Calgary, but they would trade him to Dallas

Wow. I can't wrap my head arounf the Bs getting rid of Seguin. I would have bet that he was their future captain not long ago.

Say whaaaaaaaaat? If true the Stars will be set with Benn and Seguin for years. They're probably giving up a lot more than Eriksson though. We'll have to wait and see the full return.

Has to be more leaving Boston for them to take on the cap hit from Eriksson+ and still get to a full roster.

The Flames don't have anything comparable to Eriksson to offer the Bruins, including Sven, Brodie, and Monahan.

Reality is, it is very rare that players like Seguin can be had for what's expendable.
