Toews spent a year in college after he was drafted.

Give him his 9 games and unless he looks amazing let him spend the year dominating in the OHL.

Monahan the future "Toews" and Gaudreau the future "Patty Kane" and then adding Sven to the mix.
Liking the future.

Damn, that sounds like something a guy could get arrested for doing.

I was thinking more along the lines of a Swiss Jesus on skates, aka The Savior.... But Swiss Loob is close enough.

Soooo, what exactly do the Flames have on their hands with the 3 picks, especially Monahan. Is Monahan touted to be that much better than Sven? Is he touted to be a 1st line Center? I find it a little tough with all the opinions here, that Sven will be a 1st line winger drafted 13th, and Monahan will be a 2nd line C drafted 6th in a deep draft. Did the scouts nail Sven? I know it's early, but it's been so long since we've had a decent prospect, I don't think I realize what we have in these 2. I feel the same about Klimchuk. I realize these players are linked to NHLers, like Monahan to Teows, but really, is that what we have here? Honestly, no Flames rose coloured glasses....

All right, then. Monahan can be Gilmour, Poirier can be Colin Patterson, and Brodie can be Suter if he puts on some muscle. McGrattan can be Tim Hunter if he's re-signed.

But if Keegan Kanzig is going to play Joel Otto, somebody better get on the phone to Dave Lowry and ask him very nicely to show Kanzig how to take faceoffs.

Yeah, got that pointed out to me. Got my answer already, but what I was origionally trying to ask in my beer ridden state was if the rule applied to all junior factions. Should of worded it that way in the first place instead of looking like a moron.

The 67's could probably manhandle what the Flames will ice next season, so he'd probably prefer to get sent back to them after the 10-game audition.
