Scary. I glanced and saw the C and Blake Comeau. Thought it was Calgary.

Good for Blake.
I always thought he was a pretty good 3-4th liner, and got ripped here way more than he deserved.

Good for Comeau. He was a really frustrating player because he could skate really well and kill penalties but the reast of his game left you pulling out your hair. If he's stapled to the 4the line he's a good player but Flames coaches made the mistake of thinking his hussle would help the scoring lines but he ended up boat anchoring any scoring line he was placed on as scoring changes just died as soon as they came within a meter of his body.
I won't miss his signature move of coming in off the wing and just circling around the offensive zone once or twice before coughing up the puck.

I did like him more coming down the stretch to the trade deadline. At least he gave an effort, unlike the veterans on the team.
From what i saw he played pretty good for the Jackets on the 3rd line.

I like this for Columbus. Now that they are back in the east, he might find his scoring abilities again. Worst case, it's one year.

I think Comeau on the first line was a darker day in Flames history than the Saddledome flooding.

Yeah that kind of gave me a real appreciation for the Clarke Wilm days.

Scoring Winger

was a good 4th liner... was great at shutting down the flames offense when he played on any other line

Columbus actually wanted him on a 2-year.

Still hard to believe he was capable of scoring 20+ goals in a season. I think the NHL should investigate that season, as clearly there's no way he actually scored most of those goals.

Or retroactively give John Tavares an MVP.
