53 points in 69 games last year, was projected to be an easy first rounder.
39 points in 72 games this year. I wonder what happened.

6'3, 190lbs LH Defence
2012-13: Roy ended the season as Brandon's fourth-leading scorer, frequently skating alongside overage veteran Tyler Yaworski. The Wheat Kings' roster was in flux throughout the season as Brandon finished with the WHL's third worst record. Roy scored 17 goals with 22 assists in 72 games and was minus-32 with 37 penalty minutes. He was ranked 41st amongst North American skaters in Central Scouting's final rankings prior to the 2013 NHL Draft.
Talent Analysis
Solid junior career in Brandon to date, which began at age 15. Has become very reliable in all situations. Uses his reach well and has room on his frame to bulk up.

Corey Pronman @coreypronman 16s
CGY selects Roy. Potential 1st round guy coming into year, but had bad season. He has great offensive ability, but lost in own end.

I'm ok with this pick. Nothing special. Hopefully he can bounce back for next season.

I'm reading a March 30, 2012 article that states;

Eric Roy is a potential first round NHL draft pick for 2013

This guy's stock must have fallen alot. Can't complain here as one bad season doesn't make a career.

Love this pick. High upside with this guy. Needs his head sorted out, or a change of scenery.

Not that it matters or that anyone cares, but I find it funny that in my sim league(similar to CalgaryPuckHockeyLeague) I drafted both Kanzig and Roy.
