Yep just a quick survey and I think Columbus has had a stellar day today.

I like how Kanzig is good enough to take 100 picks sooner, but Bjorkstrand, screw him. Let's stick to our list, it's the be-all-end-all and everyone else is wrong.

Of course, no one knows for quite some time... but my feeling is Feaster and Co have had a very average day considering the picks they had coming in ... it just seems they made 2 picks they could have made later on in the draft... who knows though, I guess.

Guys, the Flames having Kanzig ranked 12th was a joke.
The pick sucks, but at least it's only a 3rd round pick...

I agree that it's only a 3rd rounder, so it's not really a huge deal. But for a team like the Flames every pick should really be of the utmost importance. We really can experiment or gamble on so many picks. Heck if they really want to gamble why not take a few Europeans with higher potential, even if there is a chance they'll flee to the KHL?

If there aren't going to use their own list they just fire all the scouts and subscribe to ISS and RedLine. Save themselves a few bucks.
That's why you pay scouts... so you have your own list.
