I dunno. I liked picks 6 and 28. I don't hate the 22 pick but going off the board in this deep of a 1st round is a little scary because it means that either the Flames know something everyone else doesn't or the Flames are being the Flames. I do remebmer the Morris pick being off the board and that worked out so hopefully Poirier proves them right.

I like a ll 3 picks but i agree with "Estrada". It's becoming more and more noticeable that if you don't "toe the company line" you are told to shut up.

It's not just the first round that is deep, it goes into the 2nd round as well. Guys in the 2nd round are potential 1st rounders etc.

Well the 28th pick was "ranked" higher than the 22nd. Pretty obvious they thought Poirier had a better chance of going before 28th then Klimchuk did.

No ones telling anyone to shut up. People are free to post their opinions and when they do they should expect others to disagree. Where has anyone been told to shut up?

Every draft for the Flames is scary. At least they haven't gripped up a Keetley/Irving/Krahn yet.
You just seem so critical of guys that haven't even suited up yet. Monahan > Horvat, even if it was just 3 positions later.
Continue to voice opinon though, sorry if I stifled any of that.

No, but the mockery is getting a little ridiculous. It doesn't go the other way, we're treated like we're idiots for not trusting a management group that's done nothing.

Weak draft for the USHL. They had 6 first rounders last year, just 1 this year.

I suspect Feaster is being 100% honest that they took 3 players in their top 13. So everyone who disagrees is 100% entitled to wonder if other scouts know more than the Flames scouting staff, but you can't criticize the team for doing anything but what they said they would do.

That's fine and all and I do agree but it doesn't mean they couldnt have leveraged their "sleeper" pick to get another one later in the draft to drop a few spots... That's my issue.

Oh come on. Both sides mock the other. Don't turn yourself into a victim b/c someone disagrees with you on a hockey board

Agreed. We had jerseys ready with the names of each of our 3 picks, so I have to think we had them all rated very highly. Most of the teams toward the end of the round just had blank jerseys.
