he had the choice between Monahan and Nichuskin really. If he went off the board with an outlier people would have melted down.
I am sure one of his supporters will pump his tires about the genius behind the selection too....but it was almost as much of a no brainer as picking Stamkos at #1 and then given credit about "what a great selection" it was...

I think he had 5 in everything except shot and something else (skating maybe?)

I think he was all 5 except skating and maybe shot which were 4

IMO Monahan is better suited to the West and Lindholm to the East. Mono is a fairly big dude I'm happy to see on this team.
