It obviously depends what the rest of the trade pieces are... But I'm not grabbing my pitchfork like others are with this news...

I would pass on Seguin without him going through n extensive medical.
It has come out he was "injured" during the playoffs.
He said himself its an "injury he has had his whole life"
He has apparently always had a chronic hip condition.
I am not against Seguin, but I want to know he isn't going to break down in 5 years.

There's not many guys out there worth the 6th pic Feaster needs to hold out and bend some one over before he trades that asset away.

His "contributions" in this thread leave me convinced he's fodder for my ignore list.

Probably because Feaster had about the same role in building the team that won him that Cup ring as Lowe did with his rings.

It's almost like the Flames are trying to outdo Edmonton in being the attention whores of the draft. I hate that management of this team. I hate it.

No, you love this. It gives you something to bitch about and worry monger. This is your wet dream and you are enjoying this. Don't try and deny it. It is obvious as the chins on Feaster's face.

Do you ever get tired of talking to yourself? You seem to do a lot of it.

So let me get this straight, Feaster should give up #6 + Baertchi + Gaudreau + 22 for Seguin but when Feaster asks for a player similar to Seguin in return for the #6, people lose their minds?

That 6th pick and their 3rd round pick. Pretty scary.

The hostility from "lol overreations" side is a lot worse than in the other direction.

How many posters posted that trade proposal? My guess that it comes from your imagination.

I would hope/think things have changed since then. Feaster and company have said as much since (used the word rebuilding etc).
Wait to see how this all plays out before I get too freaked.

I just don't trust Feaster to get good value for the picks.

At this point I have more faith in Button/Weisbrod making the picks than Feaster making a trade.

I think most people are saying keep the sixth. Period.
If you can do a deal with other assets then maybe. But there seems to be a Boston proxy here that thinks only an outrageous package gets the deal done.
It's a salary dump. A good gm should be able to exploit that.
