Two million estimated to be at this celebration. This ain't no Tampa celebration. Nice to see a major metro city get behind their team.

Anyone remember where this team was a decade ago? Quite the turnaround and goes to show ownership is pivotal to success.

Having the best player in hockey as your captain sure helps a lot

Toews = 2 Cups, 6 seasons.

Crosby = 1 Cup, 8 seasons.

When did Crosby join the Hawks? I think Toews is a good player but he wouldn't even make my top 10 list of best players in hockey.

I agree with this statement but if you wanted to win the cup next year and could pick anyone in the league to be your captain, I't be hard to not pick Toews.

Your list sucks then. Should have won the Hart. Best player in Vancouver 2010 too.

Yes, the Blackhawks were a sad sacked team with no home games televised in the local market. The team did not make the playoffs ten years ago and were in a stretch where they only made the playoffs once in ten seasons. The cliche "from rags to riches" definitely applies here.

That is impressive and it is a bigger crowd in comparison to the 2010 parade where approximately 1,700,000 people came for the party.

I hope Patrick Kane does his speech while drunk again like the last time. Pure awesomeness!
