If Kevin Anderson can make the 3rd round Milos really has no excuse

With his ability to rack up free points on his serve as well as nailing forehand winners, he would have done much better at Wimbledon 15 years ago when the courts were much quicker. He'd have still had difficulty with some footwork but he would have gone deeper into the tournament due to his serve. Sadly for him, this isn't the case any longer.
Yup. He met just as good a server today and his return was much worse.

I'll still wait for the hardcourt season to pass judgement on him. I'm just glad he didn't injure himself this week.

what channel are you guys watching this on?
I seem to only have TSN1 (through ESPN2) covering this and it's only about which americans have failed or are playing.

TSN has cut into alternate broadcasting when a Canadian is playing.

Can we finally agree that Milos has peaked?

He is abysmal in big tournaments and completely one dimensional. The book on him cannot be longer than a couple sentences.

Eugenie, you're my new hope for a Canadian Grand Slam winner.

TSN is weird, they don't stream what they're showing on tv.

It feels like Eugenie is just hanging on right now. First serve needs to improve and if she can turn that around I think she will win.

Yeah this game and the earlier one where she fought off multiple break points against only to lose the game could be the difference today. Gotta cash those in.

Naturally Stakhovsky is out the round after dropping Federer.

for the length that this set has been, winning it is now more important

Well this should be a good mental test. I didn't think she played all that well and still should have won the set. Keep focused and I think she'll be alright.
