Feaster wouldn't tip hand on Lecavalier but didn't deny interest and says he's a player that transcends their post-apex definition. #Flames

Feaster loses credibility with me here. You don't redefine the rules to fit your situation. Post apex is post apex.

Fan960Steinberg Feaster also said they've received little interest in Mike Cammalleri. #Flames

That's disappointing, if true.

The only way you're moving him at this point, is by eating salary. If no one has called, it's because you failed to let the rest of the league know that you're willing to eat said dollars.

Cammalleri at 3M would have a lot of takers.

Feaster always lies you should not be surprised. " they can find a new GM if they want to rebuild this team"

Cammalleri will have more value at the trade deadline. Not too many teams are willing to take on 6 million dollars on their cap now, but come the trade deadline teams will be sniffing around. (Of course they could eat some money now... but I still think you wait)

Seriously why even say that. It benefits absolutely nobody.

This is not necessarily a comment on whether Jay Feaster is a good or bad GM, but for heaven's sake...

If you make a clear-cut statement saying that the club won't bring in "post-apex" players and then you publicly speculate about doing it you probably just should've kept your mouth shut from the beginning.

Mark Masters ‏@markhmasters 13s Feaster calls Lecavalier a 'special guy, special player' but says it'd be unwise to tip off others on whether Flames have interest in him

sigh... isn't he tipping teams off right now?

It doesn't benefit us to trade Cammalleri in the offseason. If he has a good first sixty games, where he's cruising along with 40-50 points, at the deadline he gets us a first.

Rebuilds require patience.

All that said, I'm tired of Feaster. This is getting ridiculous. Stop talking. You were doing so well after the ROR sheet until the trades, go back to that.

It benefits those of us on here who believe he has little trade value.

Keep whining Cammy!
