Fair enough, but I think there were statistics on the teams that did make those deals traditionally, and I believe they did generally work out nicely for the chances of taking it. This year may have been an outlier.

First time in a while that a team who won in a short time before wins it again. Not as emotional.

I know how you feel, but I also feel a sense of freedom. Looking forward to summer and actually looking forward to helping people get their lives back together.

This was an outstanding final, full credit to Boston they left nothing on the ice, nothing.

NBC doesn't care either. I was switching channels through the game, and happened to be on NBC at the finish. At one point while the Hawks were celebrating on the ice, I heard FIVE F-bombs in about 15 seconds.

The other thing with Crawford is that there is a perception that he isnt an elite goalie (which i agree with). Also there was alot of elite goaltending in this playoffs with Raask and Quick both outplaying Crawford. And its tough to give a goalie the MVP after that ugly game four. He would have been a very defensable choice but I perfer Kane.

And if Bickell had scored 2 or 3 this series instead of 1 I would have went with him.

This has to be some kind of record for most f-bombs in a Cup celebration.

Even in Canada where people are much less likely to care... CBC will hear from the CRTC for this.

Cup rings aren't official and are totally up to each winning teams discretion but I am fairly sure he wouldn't qualify to get his name on the cup.

Not sure how that works with goalies. He was the backup when Emery was injured in the first few games.

I think Shaw was just trolling the censors after he discovered he could in game 1

*Yawn*... 13/14 season here yet?

Don't need to see that, now. Any programming is better than seeing that charisma black hole captain Toews and Crosby 2.0 Kane kissing the cup.

Not unless Chicago asks for it.

He doesn't qualify for it.

The "woot" needs to be retired. Easily the most annoying noise, whether in a bar, and now even on the ice.

Wow this sucks a lot. Being a Bruins fan since I was a kid I never experienced making it to the finals and losing. We either had a bad team or just went out in the first couple of rounds. Then we go an win the cup when we had the chance. This just really hurts.
I was here when the Flames lost in 2004 and it hurt but not as bad because they are my #2 team. Now I know what it feels like and it really sucks.
We had a good season and great playoffs so I guess we just suck it up and win it next year.
