I live by Inglewood, just trying to figure out how to get into elbow park region from here. I do know that bridge by Macleod and 25th ave is down (at least some of it). I heard bridge on 4th street by Safeway is not in good condition either so i can't use Mission Rd.

You may have to jump onto Blackfoot to Glenmore - Crowchild and around to 33rd ave to 14th street North.. turn right on prospect avenue and should should be able to get to 5th street SW... turn south and you can park about a block away from the Safeway.

You can take Mission road some distance into Rideau park and walk... but it is still quite the trek.

I was just in Mission area for work. Accessed from 4 St SW. Very congested around there. I would not go to the area unless you absolutely have to. Too many people walking/ riding through for a look & getting in the way of all those who are there to actually do work!

I am guessing it almost tripled the width of the creek. That pedestrian bridge was a tad longer than the width of the creek before the chaos.
