My tap water has a pretty heavy taste of soil/dirt. Is that a normal side effect of processing water with a lot of sediment or something? Still OK to drink?

If you are in Calgary then it's ok to drink. Canmore has a boil advisory.
The soil and dirt should have lots of vitamins and nutrients in it. Drink up.

But to confirm, it's normal that it tastes like dirt? :P

Looks like I need to get to the airport tonight. Anyone know how the cabs are lately? I have to go from SW, so I assume I'll be taking a big detour around central Calgary?

How do things look for the North to South Calgary traverse? Are people who work or live on opposite sides of the city going to be able to get into work in the coming days?

ATB is now matching as well. So that basically makes every birdie he makes worth $4k and any eagles worth $10k.

Bow river down almost a third of the flow rate. Peaked at about 1650 m3/s, dropped below 1000 last night but now up a tad and holding steady at 1125 m3/s.
I was out surveying some damaged areas of the elbow, so I haven't actually seen the Bow since late friday. Is it down noticeably at all? Curious cause of friends and family looking to access Bowness.
