It's probably important to note that the Andy Greschner in question attended the University of Alberta, so that we don't disparage any Andy Greschner who did not attend the University of Alberta. It would be a shame if there was any confusion about the fact that this Andy Greschner attended the UofA in Edmonton.

Got an email back from Tolko.

Thank you for your email.

We have looked further into this and we are able to confirm Andy is NOT a current Tolko employee. He was previously employed as a summer student with Tolko during the summer of 2012 but is no longer in our employ.

However, regardless of this fact, we want to assure you that Tolko Industries would never condone this type of commentary.

We understand the serious devastation that is occurring in Southern Alberta and our thoughts are with those affect by the floods.

We tried to contact Andy to ask him to remove the Tolko name from his page. We have made an announcement on Tolko’s Facebook page and are responding to each email inquiry, in hopes this update will also get spread around.

We apologize for the upset this situation has caused.
We hope you will bear with us as we continue to try to rectify the misunderstanding.

It truly means a lot after a day for responding to emails… but what we have gone through today, is nothing compared to those displaced by the floods.
