Only one I can personally confirm is that Enmax Envision (or whatever you call it these days) is up at Canada Place (5th ave and 2 st). There are some other buildings serviced by Envision that are up, some that are down, and some that are degraded and running on secondary links, so your mileage will vary with them.

Thanks all.
Looks like fiber is fine then.
My office, Downtown, south of the tracks on the west end is on Shaw Coax and has been out.

One of the Nashville fans on HF posted this, describing it as a song that got him through their disasters. Not a country fan at all, but this really struck a chord.
Has anyone been down to Mission area? My place is right off of 25th on the river. We are high up, but now im wondering about the structure of the building and when we can even get back in there.
Earlier in this thread (no idea which page), someone posted a photoshopped pic of the peace bridge showing a raptor on a sharks back and godzilla, etc.
...Can someone post that again? It's time to laugh a little....I need to send it to some friends in Manitoba

The Following User Says Thank You to Mr.Coffee For This Useful Post:
Southern Alberta is no stranger to flooding, but this week's devastation from Canmore to Calgary and beyond was the result of a unique confluence of unexpected weather and a still partially frozen landscape unable to soak up the unprecedented deluge.
Hydrologists who watch the waterways like the Bow and Elbow rivers say several factors were at play since the rain started to fall about four days ago.
"To have these very large flood events … the stars have to line up," says Uldis Silins, a hydrologist at the University of Alberta in Edmonton.

Im surprised by your "poor us" attitude. Things could have been much worse. There has been practically no loss of life for starters. Our City, our province is resilient and we're not the type to sit around feeling sorry for ourselves thinking "woe is us" cursing our bad luck.
It happened. Now we rebuild. We will become a stronger, closer community because of it. It is happening already. I've never been prouder to be a Calgarian.
How in any circumstance did you get that from my post? You are simply attacking me as usual. How pathetic.
Yes things could have been worse and they could have been better, but none of that matters. My comments were in response to someone saying we were lucky this did not occur during the stampede. If you could read (and your posting history has proven otherwise) you would have known that rather than jumping on me without reading anything (as usual).
