What are my chances of getting to my office on 12th and 1st SE downtown (across from Sunterra)? Our server is offline, but the internet there is working... not a good sign... I'd like to at least grab our disk array and move it off-site.
(Probably a stupid question, but tough to get "practical" info.)

Didn't listen fully but did they say on Global that all the exotic animals like the tigers have been moved to holding cells at Calgary Court Building?

Videos on Global of Roxoboro houses flooded up nearing the second story. Insanity, really looks way worse than the downtown/Stampede pics. There is a river flowing through the community there.

That area is an island...cant get into the core, can't get in from the south because of bridge closures...water all around that area. I think if not in an evac zone it's sandwiched between beltline and vic park evac zones. Best not to do it.

It sounds like while there's an advisory to stay out of downtown you can still get in if need be, with limited access.
I haven't seen for myself though.

That was a rumour but the city/zoo refuted it even before Gary Brobrovitz said it on Global.

There is one road available to get into and out of downtown right now. It's unlikely you will be allowed into the core if you are not already in the core, but you could try if you really, really wanted. Last I heard, the 5th ave flyover was still being used to get in and out.
