At the moment no, late last night my friend left to help his mom and ended up crashing at my house and was stopped by CPS trying to get back into downtown.

Cochrane's reporting that the rivers in town have peaked. Calgary shouldn't be far behind. A bit of good news, I hope.

Global news just said its grounded due to the weather. Fog maybe? They said they're hoping to be up soon.

Depends on rate. If it's raining, but not as fast as the river is flowing, then the river level would drop.

You'd be correct if we were talking about a pond though.

So 2 and a half years ago I moved to Australia in the midst of the flooding crisis here and never thought that one day I'd be sitting here worrying about friends and family and flooding back home. Craziness. You guys were all really kind with your words of encouragement back then and I just want to reciprocate. So, I hope that all of you are safe and dry! Are the Community & Neighbourhood Services buildings open today?

In particular CNS Forest Lawn, and CNS Shaganappi?
