Not that I need it tonight, but I'm making a list of you guys offering places to crash for the next time my wife gets really really mad at me.

Well tomorrow should be fun. I work DT, but I also work home insurance claims. So I might need to borrow a canoe tomorrow morning if anyone has an extra one

Just a quick Lethbridge update; they had originally called for our river to crest at 5 pm so they sent all the kids from schools home early as we only have 2 bridges going across the river and they didn't want kids stranded on either side of town. Crest time was later changed to 8 pm, and now a massive change to noon tomorrow. So whatever they're saying are the peak times for the Elbow and Bow... take with a grain of salt because the science of predicting it is still a work in progress, apparently.

Any word if the flooding is affecting the zoo? I'd imagine it almost has to.

Wow, that's quite a lot. I didn't think Edmonton would have 100 cops to spare?

They're moving the animals to higher ground as a precautionary measure.

Don't worry, she's familiar with the address already.

At what point should I worry about the water pooling in my backyard? I have put some plywood down to extend my drain spouts to new areas but it is very soggy back there

I'm guessing it's mostly to assist with patrol of evacuated areas. No way CPS would have the manpower to do it all themselves.
Still no official word on Deer Run and Riverbend.
