There is presently no GM for Anaheim so it is first come first serve for the Anaheim pick. Please provide a brief justification for your choice.

I'll pick for Anaheim:

The Anaheim Ducks are proud to select with the 26th pick in the 2013 NHL entry draft, from the US under 18 National Team, J.T. Compher.

With the 27th pick in the 2013 entry draft the Columbus Blue Jackets select from the Swift Current Bronco's of the WHL defenceman Dillon Heatherington.

Calgary poll up next

Calgary's pick for#28 will have no run off poll, so the leader will be the pick.

Based on FCs rankings, the highest remaining choices are:

Shea Theodore
Ryan Hartman
Andre Burakovsky
Nic Petan
Connor Hurley
Madison Bowey
Zach Fucale
Keaton Thompson
Steven Santini
Mirco Mueller

Any prospects to add before the poll is posted?

I would like Ian McCoshen added if it is not to much trouble.

Mirco Mueller as well.

EDIT: guess I didn't see Mueller there at the bottom at the time.

too many good ones already..... Trade Cammalleri back to Montreal for our 2nd round pick.

Petan would be a great pick....... doesn't fit with Calgary's current crop of smurfs but if Tanguay and Cammalleri get moved he would make Gaudreau and Granland trade-able assets.

Hartman is a great pick that would be a great fit for the Flames.

Mueller is a large Swiss D that like has a lot of Baertshi-like qualities and Bowey a top d-man from Kelowna.

This is why trading up and losing this pick for anything but Mackinnon is not such a good idea.

I still stand that if Monahan (or Barkov) is not on the board at #6 then a drop of 4 spots to #10 and adding Dallas's 29/30th pick is the correct move

Wow, if Bowey is still available at 28, we have to tale him. Especially since we took two forwards already.

I left Petan for a reason plus Heatherington is a Calgary boy

I know Dillon's grandpa pretty well - sounds like buffalo has been very keen on him. 16 not a little high for Heatherington though?

Yeah, going two forwards with the first two picks, I think you need to think about grabbing a defenseman. Mueller is a very intriguing pick. I like the size if he can fill into that 6'3" frame.

Probably, which is why he went at 27.

Mueller/Santini/Bowey/Burakovsky/Theodore

Burakovsky is going to be an impact sniper. Total speedster & very skilled... Might be the Parise of 2013.

Bowey looks like a project. He could be a looooooooong way from being in the NHL. Good physical tools; maybe no toolbox.

Santini has the pedigree that Feastbrod seems to like. Rugged SAH D man.

Mueller is a bit of a 'meh' prospect for me, in that he isn't flashy or particularly exciting, but he may be the best D prospect left on the board.

I'll take Petan. He's a midget, but he scores as much as the top 4.
