That damage to HWY 1 into Canmore is unreal. It will take a long time to fix that! It took something like a month in 2010 to fix the washed out highway near Maple Creek and this looks worse to me.

The safeway is emptying out of all their product. All the motels/hotels are packed right now.

I don't get all these videos people are taking standing right on the banks of the rivers. Do they not understand how quickly the edges can give out? You think its a gradual smooth erosion? No, giant chunks go at a time. Darwinism I suppose
