#3 is my guess?
1. Iginla
2. MacInnis
3. Kiprusoff
4. Fleury?

It's debatable if Kipper is even the best goalie in franchise history, so I don't think I'd put him at #1 overall, but he's up there.

wow. that is insane. There is no way Vernon comes even close to him and Vernon was a great goaltender.

If Kipper does decide to retire, I hope he stays on with the Flames Organization. With that being said, I would like to see him retire and become the Flames next goaltending coach.. no offensive to Malarchuk but with a goaltender of Kippers calibre, I am sure he can teach Berra, Ramo and MacD a few things or two like the scorpion..

Kipper played one of his best seasons in 2011-2012. I think he should stay on for the challenge of seeing what can happen. If he does retire I hope he stays on in the organization.

No, the only insanity is your comment. That's cool if you like Kipper better, but it is very debatable who the better goalie was..........in every single way possible it's debatable.

Oh yah, Kipper really seems like the coaching type Quality goalie doesn't equal quality coach. Everything we've ever heard about Kipper suggests he would have nothing to add in a coaching capacity, the guy was a pure talent, but doesn't seem too interested in anything other than going out and playing.

No way is he number 1 overall but certainly top 3, probably 2 in my view.
Definitely the best goalie ever for the Flames. No doubt about that.

So while some may try to debate it, it would be a pretty weak and one sided debate.

We can argue top 1 or 3 or 5 or whatever all we want. What I think we can agree on regardless of where someone might rate him is that he has carried this team on his back for many years and we have really be blessed to have been able to watch him in the flaming C for so long.
Dude is one of the all time greats for the Flames without a doubt.

The only thing Vernon has over Kipper is the Ring. Kipper is a better goalie who played behind a lesser team.
Kipper is likely the best goalie the Flames will ever have, which is kind of depressing.
