I thought this was worthy of a bump. Great job ob getting Knight. Hopefully it will take some of the pundits away from the whole ROR incident that didnt mean jack in the end.

Looking forward to draft day. Good start Jay dont screw up the momentum you just started.

Although this was a great move, I would like Feaster more if he wasn't with the Flames.

One of the things I like about the Knight deal is that it gives Feaster the flexibility to look at moving one of our other centres for picks before the draft.

I can see Backlund being moved and/or Horak.
That is unless they can find a way to get Stajan off the books and on to another team.

I will wait until after the draft Feaster thus far with the Flames has made as many good moves as bad that i agree with. So when i balance it out he is a 5 out of 10 in the past 2 years.

this was a good move. singular.

I am hoping that the talk of trading Backlund is all conjecture, cause that would be a bad move imo...

Lets see what he does at the draft...

WHAT!!! Knight picked Calgary solely because it has the weakest prospects and easiest way to get a chance to play in the NHL.

That is like talking credit for picking John Taveres or Taylor Hall..... I made the team SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Bad that we get players by default.

Ya this was a typical Feaster move though. #4 overall pick for he's going to be a consistent 30 goal scorer Fedotenko, 1st round pick for he's already a top 4 defenseman Shane O'Brien, 5th round pick for top of the list Wideman, and 2nd round pick for he's ready to be a regular in the NHL Paul Byron.

Depends on what we got in return for Backlund. If he is part of a package to land that #2 pick from Florida I won't miss him one bit.

Terrible bump. The Knight trade was good, but it should take a lot more than that for people to start saying that they like Feaster again. This thread should be locked and buried since it's so embarrassing.

Good to know, so we can partially blame him or the O'Rielly fiasco and the terrible Regehr trade.

Not get any credit? He is constantly being trumped as a guy who should be the next GM with next to nothing to indicate he should come close to a job like that.

Gotta give credit where it is due. I was scared he was gonna screw this up but I think he did a good job. Classy touch mentioning the flood while on an international platform. Keeper going Jay and dont screw up on July 5.

You may make me a beleiver yet.

If we are using the current CP format for these threads, I think the title needs to be changed to Jay "Fricken" Feaster
