This just in...trend has not hit Grande Prairie yet....
There will be a few new trends coming there soon, but here is a tip - do not invest in Betamax, although it is technically superior - VHS is more popular

Ugh. Are we supposed to have sex with that, or something?
Actually I am disappoint with the Japan eyeball-licking thing. I rather expected they'd pop the eyeball out, suck it clean, then pop it back in.
I wouldn't be surprised at all because they are really into their fetishes. They sell pringle type canned used school girl underwear that dirty old men can open a smell.

Of course, this "trend" is something that happened at one school. The first rule of strange Japan stories is that one person doing something weird (ie. bagel forehead implants) means that it's a trend, when it's mostly likely simply a couple of people who are into something weird. Same thing with the panty vending machine. Singular - there used to be one in Shinjuku that I knew of. Never seen one in real life and I've been a while.
And someone from the US or the UK writes a story about it like it's the next big thing, when in fact nobody in Japan has ever even heard of it (because it's a weird Japan story, not actually news or something that is happening). Japan needs a snopes type thing for all of these stories.
