Put him in net. The Jets would go 82-0.

so according to the article the source saying he is over 300lbs and untradable is a hockeybuzz writer.

Why would the Jets want to trade him? I didn't see many of their games, but by the numbers he looked to have had an okay year?

In April it looks like he was playing 25/26 minutes a game....which is right in line with his season average. And it doesn't look like his production tailed off at all. Not sure if I'm buying this report.
I mean, I don't doubt he is topping three bills....but I don't think that makes him "untradeable" or that the Jets would be looking to move him.

Just the fact he was skating 25 min a game and had 28pts in a shortened season makes me lean towards this blogger is full of BS. 302lbs you would have to be a cardo freak to pull that off not too mention he would be almost certain to pull his groin, hamstring etc.
There is no way a guy can log 25min a game at the NHL level and be only -1 he is certainly not lugging 302lbs during the season.

How much does a man have to eat to maintain 300lbs+ when he is skating 25/26 mins a night and practicing almost daily? I thought I read somewhere that Iggy eats like 6 or 8k calories while training in the offseason and he is what a svelte 200 or 210?

I find that kind of exaggerated TBH. 300lb is a lot of weight. I remember Brock Lesner when he was first wrestling with the WWE weighed that much, and the guy was a monster.
If Buf was playing 25-26 min, then his fitness level should still be pretty high. Packing 300 lb as an NHL player seems unfathomable to me. If that's the case, he's one hell of an athlete.

So does he skate just by leaning forward?

If you watch closely I believe when he leans it actually causes the earth to move underneath his feet due to gravitational pull.

What a waste of potential. You can imagine if he really got himself into great shape that he could be a dominant player but we will only ever see 2/3's of his potential.
This is why I don't buy into assuming young prospects that don't take care of their body will just change their spots when they turn pro.

Forget hockey, this kid needs to look after himself better. When he finishes hockey and his metabolism goes down, if he does not change his eating ways, he will have huge health problems. Would not be surprised if he does not make it to 50 if no changes occur.

That might be exaggerating the issue a little.

I think the more concerning part isnt his static weight, but the fact that he keeps dropping and gaining.
TSN has him listed at 265 and he seems to be constantly dropping and gaining weight.
Could you imagine losing and gaining 30-50 pounds a year every year? That kind of fluctuation has to cause all kinds of hell with your body.

Has anyone seen the midget from Austin Powers and Lassie in a while.
I think Buff ate them.

He'd be the worst room mate ever. You'd be up all night hearing the crinkling of cellophane wrappers and beer cans being crushed in the darkness.
Plus fat person gas.
that's like the worst.
