Well, it looks like the Pens pick is 28 with a slim chance of it being 27.

28>30.

Yep, looks like 6, 22 and 28 are our picks. Pretty solid.

Zykov at 22 is a bit of a reach IMO, but I think he should be there at 28 & I would be very happy to pick him. Definitely needs to work on his skating, but he has an extra year to do that. He's a smart, driven kid & has great hockey sense & physical tools. Maybe 3 years away IMO but could be very good if his skating improves.

At 22 there are some other players that we should be able to snag. I feel Ryan Pulock's stock is dropping (was top 5 at the start of the season, didn't produce as much with his wrist injury & weaker team), so I hope to pick him at 22. He would be an absolute steal there.

Mantha sounds lazy & has attitude problems, according to reports. 50 goals is 50 goals, but how is he going to play when the going gets tough in rebuilding Calgary?

I've been saying it over & over, but I 100% would be over the moon with Monahan/Pulock/Zykov in the first round.

Would rather have Horvat, Shinkaruk or Domi than Pulock and would rather have Mantha (feel he may be picked in the teens though) than Zykov but right now it's such a mess trying to figure out who may be available at what pick.

I think Horvat will be gone in the 10-15 range. Same thing with Domi as well.

If somehow Horvat was still around after the 15th pick, I would hope Feaster tries to trade up the 22nd to get him.

I have a gross feeling that Feaster takes Fucale with #22.

I think the Flames will have Mirco Mueller higher on their list than is expected.

He appears to have a lot of the same characteristics as the Flames best draft pick - Baertschi.

Both came over from Switzerland to play for an American team in the WHL.

Both won the VO2 max at their combines.

Both Mueller and Baertschi have unique (for the NHL) first names. Sven (Sounds big and lumber-jacky and he is small) and Mirco ( sound small and he is large).

Mueller is 6-3 and only 187 . I have also found him listed as 6-4.

Both Mueller and Baertschi have unique (for the NHL) first names. Sven (Sounds big and lumber-jacky and his is small) and Micro ( sound small and he is large).

He did well at the combine ( in the top 10 out of the 100 best prospects) in left and right hand grip as well as the push strength and Upper Body Power 4 KG Ball.

He would appear to be naturally strong and have a great work/training ethic.

The Flames added Agostino and Hankowski as forward prospects and unless if they somehow end up with Nurse at #6 likely will have add Monahan, Nichushkin or Lindholm.

I think that they will be looking to add a D-man with either #22 or #28 or maybe both.

I like what I am reading about Zykov, especially if he is playing on the RW and not the left as some sites have him listed. I am not a fan of Pulock though.

I would add Rychel to that list as well for other forwards I would be looking for at the end of the first round.

I don't know if Morin is going to be closer to #30 like some mock drafts are showing or if he will be in the teens as Button is suggesting. If he is there at #22 though, I would grab him up.

Monahan, Morin, Zykov would be a great first round in my opinion.
