I actually think that's a great punishment for someone like him. Too easy to just execute him.

Make him sit on death row for 24 years and tell him every day that you'll probably do it tomorrow.

He didn't care about that, He didn't fear death.

This is reason #102 why the death penalty is a joke.

That was supposed to be sarcastic. Fortunately they got him fairly quickly. Have they announced how he died yet? Hopefully he got what Dahmer got.

Liver failure, according to the article. Seems unfair that it was apparently natural causes and I hope he suffered like hell.

For some reason his 13 murders almost seem tame by today standards.

- Oklahoma,Boston and the mass shootings made me shake my head
- 9-11 made us all mad as hell
- Connecticut made me actually weep for the first time in my life over someone I never knew. I doubt I will ever forget the faces of these poor innocent little kids.

It's a sad day when the victims of serial killers get forgotten and you have to look up the killers to re-learn what they did.

I hope his liver failure came by the way of a prison shank.

His methods and level of outright sadism outstrips things like the Boston bombings or 9/11. Serial killers like to get up and personal and enjoy the suffering of their victims. The mass killers don't see their targets as anything but irrelevant cardboard cutouts.

Ramirez previously was tied to killings in Northern California. He was charged in the shooting deaths of Peter Pan, 66, and his wife, Barbara, in 1985 just before his arrest in Los Angeles, but he was never tried in that case.
Anybody who kills Peter Pan is no good in my books

Liver failure is not a fun way to go.

Thats what I mean. Lethal injection would be paradise compared to the long, slow, drawn-out death by liver failure.

Thats how the death penalty ought to work. They're going to spend the rest of their lives on death row anyways, poison them or remove their liver or something. Get creative.

Because as history has shown us we all know that everyone to ever sit on death row was guilty

You mean when they're 100% certain the person on death row is guilty, right?

After dying of natural causes after 24 years on death row on tax payers expense, Ramirez clearly got the last laugh here.
