moon please stop. You're making yourself look more folish than you do on a regular bases. If Krejci and Lucic are overrated then the Flames need to draft overrated players like them.

Oh and LOL at you saying that Krejci is having one fluke playoffs. He lead the 2011 playoffs in scoring and he also got a cup ring in the process. Was that a fluke too? Put the crack pipe down.

Is there any word on Orpik in the news?
Terrible coaching to let that guy see the ice. I'm thousands of miles away and could diagnose that concussion through my TV.

I assume we are talking about one element of his game or one type of fear.
Iginla in his prime was in the conversation for best player in the league. While playing on a crap team. Maybe he would be more comparable to a guy like Wendel Clark.

Yes, if we're ignoring goals and points then it coud be argued that Lucic was like Iginla in his prime.

Ok? I wasn't saying Iginla or Pittsburgh should be blamed, I'm just bummed he isn't winning it this year regardless of who or what

Maybe there is a mystic about Lucic because he isn't a Flame, or in the West but he can be painfully lazy at times too. Really frustrating. Dustin Penner/Rene Bourque like.

I honestly can't think of a reason outside of being a fan of them pre-Flames days to like this team. They are as unlikeable as any team out there and their fans (especially on CP lately) push it over the edge.
I would say LA is more complete. Better skill, much tougher and better goaltending.
And more complete or not Chicago should walk all over them if they play.

Lol you are really something. Always the same thing with you. REFS, LUCKY BOUNCES.....etc etc etc.......same excuses different channel.
And Boston >> Pittsburgh. 11-2 goals in the series. Luck? They outscored Pittsburgh 9-1 on Pittsburgh's ice.
Pittsburgh is losing the series 3-0 because Boston dominated games 1 and 2 and Crosby/Malkin have done absolutely nothing. Malkin at least created chances in game 3.
I love how every team you don't love are dbags. You think 2/3 of the team's in the leagues are dbags and the excuses always keep coming. Refs, luck/lucky bounces etc. Typical moon. Boston is a better team then Pittsburgh is, it's pretty simple really. Boston's best players (Krejci, Bergeron, Chara) have shown up to play where Pittsburgh's best are lost. Crosby has looked like a bottom 6 forward this series and that is unacceptable because he is the best forward in the league.
People would actually take you seriously for once if you just said the truth once in awhile aka Boston is a good team and not just a bunch of lucky guys who aren't good and only are 1 win away from the finals because of refs and luck.

many attribute the loss to philly after being up 3-0 the season before to Kreci going down with an injury.
He's been the most clutch playoff performing Center in the NHL over the past 3 seasons as a whole.

Does Moon forget that Krejci also led the playoffs in scoring the year they won the cup? The guy is becoming more of a playoff legend than anything. Calling him overrated is downright insane.

That was a fluke!!!!!!!!!!! Every point he got was a fluke and was because of lucky bounces and reffing. Every of Boston's 16 wins was a fluke too. They were lucky to have won one game. Fluke, Luck, Refs!!!!!!!!!!!!
PS...........they are DBAGS!

Well it's all just opinion, but the Pearson Trophy voters would disagree with you, and so would many of the media so-called experts, who, from 2002-5, were calling him the best overall player in the game, combining toughness, scoring, leadership, etc.

The only thing mildly lucky about the Bruins run was beating the Leafs in Game 7, but that was in part due to Lucic going into beast mode and turning things around pretty much on his own. In that game alone you saw how important that guy is to his team, beyond just goals and points.
Does anyone even understand his dbag comment? Who on the Bruins is one? I guess Marchand, but I'd take that talented dbag on my team every day, and twice on Sunday's. I don't see how Lucic could be considered one; he might have a grittier style of play that gets under the oppositions skin, but he's is not a dbag. Has he ever been suspended, attempted to injure someone, or done anything remotely bad to another player? Nope never. Ference dives a bit I guess, but not that often.
Outside of those few who else is there? Chara is a great guy, who does a ton for charity. Bergeron is a class act all around, as are most of the players on the team. Then there are guys like Campbell, Kelly, Paille, Thornton, and Horton who are all around class acts regardless of where they play in the lineup. Rask can be a bit overzealous, but no more than many other goalies. I don't understand how anyone could say Boston has more dbags than most other teams.
Heck moon's hero Sidney is much bigger whiney dbag that almost all of the Bruins.
Edit: I guess Lucic has been suspended a couple times, but only for one game on each occasion. Hardly anything worthy of him being considered a dbag.
For the record, although no one might agree, during the last couple seasons Iginla became just as much of a diver as someone like Ference. He's no saint in that regard either.

Ya your right, 68 points in 74 career playoff games. Guy has been on a lucky/hot streak since he got in the league. Not a top player whatsoever, more of a scrub than anything

I concur with this statement.
Boston has a team of players that ratchet it up in the playoffs. Calgary could be so lucky to model themselves in such a way.
They may not win the President's trophy but they know when the real season starts. I became a Boston fan those couple of years that they played the Oilers in the final in 88/ 90. Then, as now, it was Calgary first and anyone playing Edmonton after that.
